Adamo Nora

Nora Adamo was born in Saarbruecken, close to the French-German border area, in 1947. Since 1997 she has lived and worked in Thessaloniki and Lechonia (Volos).

Her creations include all kinds of works on paper, like drawings, etchings, monotypes, collages, watercolours etc. Main emphasis is on etchings, in particular on dry-points. Her subjects are landscapes (series “olive trees”, “greek landscapes”), still lifes, figure, nude, and free compositions.

In her works, Nora Adamo combines a sensitive observation, intense study of nature, and a sense of the world of things in their presence and metamorphosis.
