Born in Crete, in 1948.
He currently lives and works in Athens.
He studied in Spain, (1973 – 1985) under Demetrios Perdikides.
He is an elected member of the Classification and Evaluation Committee, Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
He has presented his work in 30 personal exhibitions, has participated in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad and has illustrated numerous books and cd covers.
V. Solidakis won the “First Prize” at the “Panhellenic Contest” for the emblem of the Seteia Municipality (Crete). His works are included in private and public collections.
